Bey and Jay supported our President by hosting a fundraiser at Jay-Z’s club 40/40 last night. The event brought out about 100 guest at 40k a ticket. Jay-Z NEVER tweets, but last night he tweeted to show everyone how excited he was before the event.

Beyonce is going to have a lot to tell Blue Ivy and the rest of her future kids. First, she sang for the Obama’s at their inauguration, then the first lady chose her to do a workout campaign, then last night she introduced the President at the event:

“I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama. We believe in his vision.”

Shortly after, the President took the stage

“To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship. Michelle, Sasha and Malia are mad at me because they aren’t here. Beyoncé couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent. We’ve made history in the past and we’re going to make history in the next seven weeks.”

Jay-z will also have a lot to tell because the President compared himself to Jay

“Beyoncé couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise  and has so much talent. Jay know what my life is like. We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard but it’s okay.”

Bey and Jay are definitely a power couple, and they walked away from the event raising $4 million dollars. MAKE SURE YOU GO VOTE!
